We met about a year and a half ago, when we ended up working for the same baseball team. He was my boss, and I ended up falling for him after a couple of months. After the season ended, he was eventually offered a job 400 miles away, and since I am still in school, we have been long distance since. It's definitely not easy, especially since with our jobs we do not have much availability to see each other, especially since it's no fun to have to wait on the other one to get off work. Luckily, I will be graduating from college in December, and hope to find an internship (and eventual job) near him.

So, most of the stories Ive read on here start out as, "...we met online..." Mine doesn't. My boyfriend, Johnny, and I have been dating now for about 2 years. We met during our sophomore year in high school, and right away we hit it off. We were in the same class during 2nd block and there was a lot of flirting going on, lol. Unfortunately, at that time, we drifted apart. He eventually stopped talking to me, as I did the same. That was honestly the 2nd worst mistake I have ever made in my life. My first? Dating a guy just months after me and Johnny stopped talking. At that time, this new boy broke my heart. (as i look back now though, i knew from the beginning he was a jackass). Ok, so this jackass proposes to me and within months after that, i found out he cheated on me. At that time, i was devastated. Thankfully I had wonderful friends and family to help me through. And, I also had Johnny. After my hard breakup, Johnny and I would talk for hours. He really helped me during that rough time, and I soon realized we did have some chemistry. We eventually ended up dating (at our county fair! :) lol, i think its sweet), and how ironic is this, it was his BIRTHDAY!! lol. No lie, and I didnt even know it.


Now to present day. So its only a little over a month til our 2 year anniversary. As thrilled as I am, i am also very very devastated. My high school sweetheart is leaving to our neighboring state in order to get a job. Its hard to find a job where we live, let alone in our state, so he is going to move in with his aunt and get a job out there. He will be in every other weekend, if things work out, but of course most jobs hold out on the first pay check, and that means about a month without seeing each other. Thats his birthday and our anniversary. Im so bummed out. Hes leaving in 2 weeks, and I am so worried that something is going to come between us, but more importantly, that something is going to happen to him. Im so scared. I understand his reason for leaving, but its so hard to just let go like that. I think its bothering him a little too, though. And it gets especially harder as that day gets closer and closer. I just hope that everything between us will be ok, and that he will be and stay safe.


Anyway, I found this site, and I decided to check it out and write my story. I have not yet had to experience a long distance relationship, but its comming soon, and I am already finding it hard to cope with. Its very difficult to go through something like this, because I know that in the end, it will make or break you. If i would not be enrolled in college in the fall, I can tell you, I would be following him. Thankfully, so far, this is not permanent, but it still hurts. I am just thankful that Johnny and I have a strong bond and I love him sooooo much. (as i believe he does me) I do trust him, and I believe he trusts me as well. I dont see how or why our relationship would not work out, but there are always doubts running through my mind.


I wrote my story, hoping that someone will be able to read it and be like, "I know how she feels." And please, If you are going through this same thing, please post your story. I have read many, and they have helped me out.

It all started last July when my friend told me about this site, MyYearbook. I was looking for a guy that lived near me, so I was hoping to find one on there. After about a month on the site and not finding anyone, I began to lose hope. Then, I found the love of my life. When I started talking to my now boyfriend, I thought he was really cute and a great guy. Then I noticed he lived on the other side of the country. It really bummed me out because I felt like I finally found a decent guy and they live acrosso far away. After we started talking everyday and exchanging phone numbers, he asked me out. I was hesitant at first because of the distance, but decided to give it a try. We finally got to see each other on web cam, which was great because it made me fall in love with him even more. We finally decided to meet in March. It was literally love at first site. We had such a great time together and we both cried when I had to leave. We are talking about our future together and can't wait to be in the same state! Although long distance relationships are difficult, they make you appreciate each other more and make the time you do have together extra special. If you're in a LDR, best of luck to you. I hope you have as great of a relationship that I have with my boyfriend!

ok me and frank met each other on this chat room name imvu i kn it sounds kinnda silly but we have been boyfriend and girlfriend for 3 almost 4 mouths we both kn we love each other i tlk to him all day every day we seem perfect for each other in every way possible all of our likes and dislikes are in common. we have both had a hard life and we help each other throught it he tells me he loves me and that im beautiful every day.... this would be all good if we lived closer to each other but the big thing is that he lives in sweden while im stuck in the U.S im moving to sweden as soon as possible but i need to finish school before that i love him with all of my heart and soul and dont kn what i would do without him
