In September 2 months ago, I moved 300 and odd miles north from my home town Newport in south Wales, to Newcastle upon tyne in the north east of england, to study in university. It was my first time living away from home, being away from my parents and friends and everything I know. Everything was exciting... expect for the prospect of one thing; leaving behind my beloved boyfriend Sam of (at the time) about 6 months. We talked and talked about our relationship before I moved and agreed that both of us were too inseperable and not ready to let go... so we decided to continue our relationship as a long distance one. it was heartbreaking leaving him the day I moved to Newcastle :( I'd spent the last half a year with him almost everyday... we were best friends as well as boyfriend and girlfriend.





University was exciting and new, so I was busy with work and trying to make new friends, but we ALWAYS rang each other, text, e-mailed, made video's, took pictures, facebooked etc. We decided to write letters to eachother as well once a week which really helped :) i look forward to reading them, and always re read the one's he's sent me. I've spoken to him or heard from him at least once EVERYday since moving away. I havent forgotten to get on with uni and I've socialised with new friends too, but he is always in my thoughts (in the most nice/least distracting way ever) It's crazy as well... we feel even more in love now than when I left! I didnt see him at all for the first 5 weeks until i came home for the first time... i missed him loads bit it was INCREDIBLE to see him again! A little strange at first but lovely and very emotional! He's even been up to Newcastle on a plane to stay with me for a week! And now Im back for the weekend... we are better than we ever have been.


The first few weeks were the test of time... and we stayed strong enough to be able to pull through. Its not easy... we have bad days sometimes like everyone else; at the end of the day we are living very differnt lives at opposite ends of the country now, from coming from the same small city and living similar lives. I know sometimes he feels left behind... and sometimes I feel very isolated... but we help eachother. Compromise is good, and understanding. And most importantly not losing sight of the very special bond you have with one and other and what you are striving to keep together.





In all honesty I thought moving away would be the worst thing for me and Sam but Im thrilled to realise it has been an amazing ride :) I love him more than I've ever done...





We've been together strong for 9 months now xxx

Well, it's not a "complete story but will be soon"... Like everyone else reading this we started online. I live in Canada and he lives in the UK. We were probably 14 when we met online and were friends for a little and then lost communication with each other for a good 2 years. And we met through a friend, he messaged on msn thinking it was here but to his surprise it was me! Him and I started to talk everyday for hours and hours.. until we decided to start "online dating".. We dating for about a year and a few months and met during this last past summer, we were 18 and 19 at the time. We aasbolteuly fell more in love when we met and connected immediately.. And I even extended my stay there, was only supposed to be there for 3 weeks and ended up staying 2 months!! And now I'm going for 2 1/2 months for christmas. I am also applying for a visa to spend two years over there for the summer and then when we are 21 apply for the fiances visa. Oh and I forgot to say that we are now engaged! Through all the fights and hard times him and I pulled through.. and trust me there were A LOT of hard times... If I can pull through all the hard times and fights... anyone can... But this is two years together now.. and I honestly wouldn't change anything for the world. He's everything to me, and if it wasn't for the internet... none of this would have happened. I found the love of my life, online.

Hey everyone,


So me and my boyfriend have been together for almost two years now. We were together in high school and we fell in love as soon as we saw each other in class.


However we knew that once we graduated, we wouldnt be seeing each other like we used to. I started modeling when I was 16, and you cant stay in California if you want to do real modeling. I bounce around from country to country building my portfolio, and currently im in new zealand, heading to Australia, and soon I'll be in Tokyo. Although this is an amazing experience, it takes a terrible toll on my relationship.


We are the type of couple that constantly texts when we're apart, and we still manage to do that even though im constantly on the other side of the world.


We still stay strong, and we love each other more than anyone in the world, but I dont want to make this sound easy.


Long distance is bloody difficult. He will do things that I dont like, and I will do things he doesnt like, but i have some words of advice:


DONT FIGHT. Fighting is so pointless and it just makes everything so much harder. you have to approach it and just say, "Im upset with things that you are doing and I would like them to change" No matter how angry you are, you just have to take a deep breath and approach it in a better way.


Also, DONT BE ALONE. when youre alone, your mind starts to run about everything they could be doing. Its best to be around friends and keeping yourselves busy so youre happy.


This can help your relationship a lot. It can make you stronger individuals as well as a strong couple. just tell yourself its temporary and youll be home before you know it!! I love my boyfriend more than anything and I cant wait to get married in a couple years. Im young, but i know what im talking about when it comes to this. =] dont forget the love <33

I Was gonna move to my homeland, where my parents was born. I have a big house there, my aunt live in that house. But the boy i love is my cousin, it`s wery wierd, but it is true. We were bestfriend, had alot of commen. Before i moved i liked a boy in norway, but he liked my friend , and my friend liked him back. My boyfrind was going throw the same. We got wery close, and started to like eachother. Then one night we where having a party and it was 1 o`clock in the morning. Everyone was sleeping in a one room, i and my boyfrind where sending each other massage. And than he said i love u, i coudn`t belive it and i sent u mean as a frind or more. he said more.. and then my love storry started.. after four monthes i had to come back to norway because i had a sickdom.. and last time i saw him was 29. march 5 o`clock in the morning.. i have some pictures of him and i call him like after one month, somethimes 6 weeks (personal reason). And now i am alone, my heart is alone, my soul is alone. i feel it is a blackhole in my heart :`( ...
