I met my boyfriend on a matchmaker site on facebook, and we are both seventeen. As soon as I tell people that, they immediately think 'well, that will never work', and there have been occasions where I thought they were right.



We lived about 120 miles from each other to begin with (the first 3 months of our relationship)and then 3 months ago I moved to France to study abroad.



None of this has been easy, but he is so mature - when I left I expected him to get very upset and beg me to come back. Instead, he did get upset but pulled it together and he has become my rock in what is quite possibly the most difficult thing I've had to do.



We talk on the phone everyday, and considering we are only 17, I am extremely proud of us being able to make this work. This isn't necessarily a success story (..yet!) and I am not naive - we are young, and have got pretty much everything working against us! But I love him, and we work hard at our relationship.



Try not to let people put you down about your relationship - it works for some, and not for others, but it is almost always worth the effort :)

Well me and Jaylynn met over chat.... and we talked for sometime than i decided I needed to find a boyfriend and I always look for someone around me! We didnt talk for awhile till he texted me?! I didnt reply till later on... But he always tried talking to me... So i finally decided i could give him a chance and talk to him and be friends.... So after sometime we just talked and we decided we liked each other alot! but it was like looks first kinda thing... than We talked and got to know each other so well in so little!!! Now we've been dating for 6 months and 3 days, and each day that goes by we just make each other happier every day! well he makes me beyond happy! :D and Yes we are in love even tho we never met! Because if love was only wen you meet a lot of people would just be out there alone???! Cuz you was made for someone and not all times they around you... My parents love him and His parents love me! :D we got a great relationship and we trust each other overall!

I met my love close to a year ago online. These days without him seem to be getting harder and harder. I literally have never felt such a deep pain from someone's absence. It is quite difficult to be in a long distance relationship. The reason being you cannot touch or hold the one you love. I never get tempted to be with anyone else. I love him with my entire being. I truly was one who did not believe in love before I met him. To me, love was something only a handful could find, and I was not lucky to have. When I met my sweet love and talked to him online I felt my heart explode, I felt my senses become alive. It was as if I had had a bird locked inside my chest and it was waiting to come bursting out. When he told me he loved me for the first time, I knew he was the one for me. A year later, we are still together, we are still strong. I feel his presence surrounds me and I carry his heart, in mine. We both trust each other and never doubt one another. I believe, wholeheartedly, that one day, I will be with my love.
