Most stories start out that they met online somewhere. Me and my guy met in person and it was love at first sight. He was here in Michigan staying with one of my best guy friends playing soccer for a team in the area. A friend of mine and i were not really planning on doing anything that night but for some reason we decided we should go find something fun to do just because. So we went over to a friend's and right when we walked in we made eye contact. i said hi to him and he said hello back. So i went outside and not knowing who this guy was or anything i said to my friend, (who he was staying with and i had no idea) who is that guy sitting in there he is really cute, and i knew i had to talk to him. After that my friend Daniel walked inside and told him that someone outside was interested in him. So when he walked outside i got instant butterflies and a huge smile on my face. We sat on the steps outside and talked for a while. Everyone then came outside but i knew that i didnt want it to end yet. So i asked him if he wanted to go for a walk with me. I found out he was from Doncaster, which is in the UK. We talked about everything and i said that we should hang out more since we have had a great time already. He then told me that he was leaving to go back home to the UK at 2 a.m.it was already 12:20 am. i didnt believe it. He said that he had been here in the US for 4 months and we met on his last night here. when we kissed for the first time it was the kind that you always hear about but rarely experience or like me, you only experience once. I knew that this was something that i would never forget. We instantly had a connection. We both felt the same way. My friend then wanted to leave (the one i came with) i of course did not want to but we left anyway and i said bye to him. and that we would try to stay in touch. After we left i was really sad and hept thinking about him. One of my close friends at the party said that he would not stop talking about me and that i should come back and talk to him before he leaves to go home in about an hour. So my friend that i left with said that we can go back if we would like. So we then went back to the party and as soon as i saw him i knew it was the right decision to come back just for a little bit longer. My guy friend that my guy was staying with then said that it was time for them to go so he could take him to the airport. My friend that i came with said why dont we just go with them to the airport which is about 2 and 1/2 hours away from where we were. so we rode with them to the airport just so i could spend a little more time with him. as soon as we got to the airport i started to tear. this is when i knew that i was already falling for him. He had the same look on his face as i did, wondering why we met the last day that he was here in the US. so i walked into the airport with him and sadly said goodbye. He told me that this is not goodbye and that we would see eachother again someday soon. We would make this work. I watched him walk away and finally lost sight of him once he went tp the terminal. I immediately wanted to run after him but i knew that i couldnt. I just had to trust him and understand that we would see eachother again no matter what.
I never really understood how people said when you know you know. I now understand this to the fullest. i think that this might be it, the big one. We have talked on Skype every day since he has went back home. it has only been about a month but i cant wait to see where this goes. He is making arrangements to come back to the US for 2 weeks to come and stay with me. Cant wait to see what happens.

my boyfriend and i have been dating since highschool where we originally met. due to school we have been in a long distance relationship for 8 out of 12 months of the year. visiting each other is difficult so we usually go around 3 months without seeing each other. its extremely difficult to be without the one you love but there is nothing you can do but trust your significant other.. without trust your mind will fill with irrational thoughts that are rooted in insecurity.

I've known my boyfriend since we were in elementary school. However, we never made conversation until highschool. Our 10th grade year we became very close friends. We talked almost everyday during school and after school as well. When the end of the year drew near, he announced to all of his friends that he and his family were moving accross the country to Wyoming. I was sad because I felt like I was losing a close friend. Well, he moved during the summer and we kept in close contact. He came back to Alabama to visit his friends. We spent some time together, then he went home to Wyoming. We remained close. He made plans to come back to Alabama to visit me for the summer. We followed through on our plans and in a matter of months he was back here with me. We then decided that we should date each other. The summer came to an end and my boyfriend went back to Wyoming. 5 months later, my sister, mother and I were on an airplane on our way to Wyoming. After I returned to Alabama, I waited another long 5 months for summer to come around. When it did, I was so happy. After 2 months of being here, we both flew to Wyoming for 10 days. I returned 1 week ago from the wonderful trip. Long distance relationships are very difficult. But when you find someone that loves you for who you are, someone you trust with all of your heart, someone you can't see yourself living without, someone who can be your best friend and mate at the same time, it is all the more difficult to let distance stop you from being with this person. I am very much in love with my boyfriend, and I patiently await our next meeting.

IT WAS 10 MONTHD AGO WHEN I MET MY FIANCEE ALLONZO. IT WAS ON A SUNDAY AND I WAS SUPPOSED TO GO OUT BUT CHANGED MY MIND, I WAS SITTIN ON THE COMPUTER AND WENT INTO A CHAT ROOM I WASNT IN THERE LONG BEFORE I GOT A REQUEST TO CHA PRIVATELY WITH HIM. WE IMed EACH OTHER FOR A WHILE AND THEN HE ASKED FOR MY NUMBER, WE TALKED THAT VERY NIGHT ON THE PHONE. I DONT KNOW HOW TO EXPLAIN IT BUT I FELT AN IMMEDIATE CONNECTION WITH WITH HIM, LIKE I HAD KNOWN HIM MY WHOLE LIFE BUT ANYWAY WE TALKED FOR A HOUR ABOUT PAST RELATIONSHIPS AND MY CURRENT RELATIONSHIP I WAS IN AND HIS PAST ONES; WE GOT OFF THE PHONE AND THAT WAS IT. THE NEXT NIGHT I CALLED HIM BECAUSE I WAS REALLY EXCITED TO TALK TO HIM AGAIN I DONT EVEN REMEMBER WHAT WE TALKED ABOUT BUT WE DID GET TO KNOW EACH A LITTLE MORE, THE MORE I GOT TO KNOW THE MORE I LIKED. OVER THE COURSE OF 4 DAYS I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE MAN OF MY DREAMS. WE MET ON A SUNDAY AND ON TUESDAY WE SAID WE LOVED EACH AND ON WEDNESDAY HE PROPOSED AND I COULDNT HAVE BEEN HAPPIER. I REALLY LOVE HIM AND IM SO GLAD HE CAME INTO MY LIFE.
